The Classic is the same full-grain cowhide and suede back as the Wide, cut to 2.5 inches for players who want a slimmer line on an acoustic, a Telecaster or a Strat. It weighs less, it packs flatter, and it still comes in two real lengths instead of one compromise.

Classic strap questions
Classic or Wide?
Pick the Classic for acoustics, Telecasters, Strats and anything under about 8 lb. Pick the Wide for Les Pauls, hollow-bodies, basses under 9 lb, or any guitar you play for more than an hour at a time.
Which length should I pick?
Regular fits most players from 5 ft 3 in to 6 ft who play at waist height. Pick Long if you are over 6 ft or play the guitar low. Exchanges are free either way.
Is the leather stiff?
It arrives firm and takes about two weeks of playing to settle into your shoulder. Full-grain leather is meant to break in; a strap that is soft on day one is usually a thin split leather that will stretch and crease.
