A 3 inch full-grain shoulder pad with a suede back that stays put, for heavy guitars and long sets.
Full-grain leather, suede back, 3 inches wide
Most straps come in one length and one width. This one comes in two lengths and it is 3 inches wide where it meets your shoulder, because a Les Paul, a hollow-body or a long set is not the same load as a Telecaster played sitting down. The face is full-grain cowhide that darkens and softens with use. The back is suede, so the strap stays on your shoulder instead of sliding to the neck.

Wide padded strap questions
Which length should I pick?
Regular fits most players from 5 ft 3 in to 6 ft who play the guitar at waist height. Pick Long if you are over 6 ft, play the guitar low, or use a Long strap now. If you get it wrong, the exchange is free.
Is 3 inches too wide for a small guitar?
On a Telecaster or a small acoustic a 3 inch strap looks and feels substantial, which most players want once they try it. If you prefer a slimmer look, the Classic is the same leather at 2.5 inches.
Will the suede back mark my shirt?
The suede is finished and dry. Like any natural suede it can leave a little dust on a white shirt in the first few uses. It stops after a week of playing.
Does it work with strap locks?
Yes. The tail holes are cut to the standard 0.25 in and reinforced, so any strap lock system fits. We sell a nickel or black pair for 14 pounds.
